How DCF-GRID ingests PMU/SCADA data and produces a predictive horizon. The signals shown are reproduced from the public REE / ENTSO-E / MedFasee technical reports of the 28 April 2025 Iberian blackout — the 0.6 Hz inter-area oscillation, the post-intervention damped phase, the silent drift, the cascade.

DCF-GRID integrates as a non-intrusive software layer over existing PMU and SCADA environments. The proprietary engine is sealed by design — auditable on request under NDA, never exposed publicly. The signals it consumes and the signals it returns are open and standard.

PMU/SCADA signals reproduced from the published 28A timeline: 0.6 Hz inter-area oscillation between 12:02 and 12:08, post-intervention damping, silent drift, voltage rise in the southwest, cascade onset at 12:30, frequency collapse at 12:33. The Hp predictive horizon is computed continuously from the same input signals via an illustrative stress-to-time model — actual DCF computation is proprietary under NDA.

The Hp predictive horizon is computed continuously from those signals using a generic stress-to-time proxy — not the proprietary DCF algorithm, which is shared exclusively under signed NDA. DCF-GRID would not have prevented the blackout; it would have provided the predictive horizon that current systems did not produce.
